52 CARDS
52 WEEKS
What happens when you take an ordinary deck of playing cards, add a little imagination and give yourself 52 weeks to see what unfolds?
52 Cards began as a simple creative challenge: one playing card, one week, one little piece of art.
Over the course of a year, each card became a miniature canvas, transformed through collage, colour, imagery and a healthy dose of creative curiosity.
Inspired by everyday observations, memories, music, moments in time and the occasional flight of fancy, each card developed its own little story. Some sentimental, some playful and a few delightfully peculiar.
Part creative experiment, part visual diary and entirely a labour of love.
Explore the collection, discover the stories behind the cards and enjoy a little wander through a year of curious creativity.
